Environmental Response

Environmental response is the foundation of our business activities. Through packaging, we aim to contribute to solving environmental problems and realize materiality of "transition to a low-carbon society" and "transition to a recycling-based society."

2.Registration and maintenance of certification

Certification registration and maintenance is one of the tools to prove our environmental response.
In order to practice sustainable material procurement, we have registered with FSC^®(^*1) and PEFC(^*2) forest certification(^*3), as well as with the ISCC PLUS(^*4) system for certifying sustainability of biomass and recycled raw materials, and we handle these certified products.
As for the environmental management system, we had continued to operate ISO(^*5) 14001 for about 20 years after initial registration, but we judged that it was at a level that can be operated independently, and shifted to voluntary operation from April 1, 2020. We will continue to promote education so that all employees can understand and act on environmental activities, and strive to improve environmental performance.

2020	March	Voluntarily withdrew ISO 14001 certification
2020	April	Implemented internal operation for EMS.
2022	March	Nagoya branch office closed
2022	April	FSC/COC forest certification registration number SGSHK-COC-003578 belonging to Containerboard Business Division was transfered to our subsidiary company, Diamond Trading Inc.
