The Packaging Business Division handles Transactions related to raw materials, which are the cornerstone of the value chain, and carries out the planning, proposal, and sale of raw materials for various products, such as chemical products, paper products, and packaging materials. We have established a system that enables us, in cooperation with raw materials manufacturers, to provide proposals for creating ideal packaging products that make the most effective use of the distinctive features of different raw materials. We are able to propose safe and secure packaging products by utilizing an extensive network (comprised primarily of member companies belonging to the Mitsubishi Packaging Association) to select the most suitable company for activities such as processing.

We are fully aware that consideration for the environment must be given top priority in all activities conducted by the company. Therefore, we are promoting a number of related efforts. These include reducing the volume of raw materials used, instituting weight-saving measures, and implementing a recycling system that incorporates actions such as reusing materials.
